Chevron Phillips Chemical, a joint venture between Chevron and Phillips 66, will work cooperatively with Qatar Petroleum (QP) developed the project located in the United States Gulf Coast (USGC). The project site will give the facility direct access to significant quantities of ethane produced from the Permian Basin and other US shale basins. USGC II will help meet the increasing global demand for the petrochemicals market. As a Consulting Engineer to Wood Group, PGA Engineers provided Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) services for all Communications Systems. Owner Workshops, Basis of Design, and Specifications are being developed for Microwave, Plant Radio Systems, LAN, WAN, Fiber Optic Distribution, Security and Public Address/General Alarm (PAGA). The petrochemical facility is targeted to begin operations in 2024
