PGA Engineers provided IT (information technology) programming and cost modeling to support a public-private partnership proposal to the General Authority of Civil Aviation. The scope included 25 different airport IT systems to support the growth and operation of the airport for 25 years. Special requirements were considered for reusing a portion of the existing terminal building as a Redundant Operations Command and Control (ROCC) center and a special purpose Hajj Terminal to accommodate millions of annual pilgrims.

Project

To provide an analysis of the airport’s numerous IT systems and recommend steps to integrate the systems while taking into account the projected growth of the airport terminal.
