
Fort Bend County Texas, Information Technology Building and Data Center, Design Consultant
Fort Bend County Texas is building a new IT Administration Building to house approximately 100 IT support staff and executive management. The project will also include a new data center to operate approximately 200 servers which are considered critical infrastructure as they host services for all county departments and citizens including emergency operations, natural disasters, police, fire, and EMS. PGA scope includes data center consulting and design, telecommunications infrastructure to include structured cabling and interconnectivity between the new site and their existing Emergency Operations Center, security design for access control and video surveillance, and audio-visual consulting for all the conference rooms and large town hall room. Scope also includes the preparation of drawings and specifications with a comprehensive set of construction documents developed by the architect.
