PGA Engineers provided an analysis and engineering recommendation to relocate and upgrade a DC power plant from an existing communications room to the main operations deck. The report included a hazardous location analysis of the American Petroleum Institute (API) and the National Electric Code (NEC). The final recommendation provided battery bank placement and enclosure requirements in addition to DC power distribution calculations and conductor analysis.
