Texas A&M University, Cain Hall Redevelopment Program, College Station, Texas

Cain Hall Redevelopment consists of the demolition of the existing Cain Hall and replacing it with a Student Services Building, a 1400 space parking garage, and a 8 story, 252,000 square-foot Hotel and Conference Center. As a subconsultant to Morris Architects and Ferguson Consulting, PGA Scope includes the design of all telecommunications and security systems. Additionally, a sky-bridge connects the hotel to the Kyle Field where the Aggies host home field football games for up to 102,000 Aggie Fans. One of the challenges was that although this is one project with multiple packages, the Student Services Building integrates with the over campus infrastructure and the Hotel does not which resulted in a design for 2 different occupants and systems. Construction is scheduled for completion before the 2018 college football season and has a budget of over $250M.

Project
